3D PRINTING
Transpiring ideas into tangible forms and for an efficient conversion, enhance first-hand experience of touch and feel of ideas.
Deciphering, Detailing and Converting the design into a machine language for a final product that is a fascinating piece of art is a process of 3D printing.
The selected filaments heat up to the appropriate temperature developing the length, breadth and height while arriving at the final design.
Tree of Innovation & Discovery

Powering up our innovation. Tabletop - 3D Print – PLA - top - dual filament and bottom - single filament.
CLAMP

Celebrating innovation in science and technology. From life-saving medical advancements to digital experiences, these innovations highlight initiatives for overcoming complex challenges.
To ensure the line drawing is suitably scaled, converting files while keeping details intact with zero errors, and navigating software limitations like slicing issues or unit mismatches. Material constraints and printer can also impact the design.
Giving appropriate line thickness while maintaining details in artwork. Ensuring optimized slicing for smooth conversion, consistent calibration and environmental control for print quality and durability. These strategies are ensured to convert line drawing into 3D printed artwork for creating a dramatic presence on the table. A Stand with a slot made to fit line drawing of the artwork.

Science & Technology

Science - Origin from latin word “Scientia” meaning knowledge or understanding. Observation, experimentation and evidence for wellbeing with improving life.
Technology - Origin from greek word “Techne and logos” meaning art or craft and work or speech respectively. Use of scientific knowledge to solve problem, methods and process. Created with stylus on phone. Coasters - 3D Print – PLA.
Menstrual Cups - Prototype - Crescenzia Wellness

Conversion including material infill, print speed, retraction, temperature, etc., to ensure that the 3D printed prototype - menstrual cup meets and satisfies client requirements. 3D Print – PLA.
Robotic Arm - IIIT B

Collaborated with students from IIIT-B, Electronic City, Bengaluru in conversion of robotic arm adjusting the temperature, material infill, print speed etc., to 3D printed prototype. 3D Print – PLA.
Mind, Body & Soul

Concentric forms portraying connect and harmony. These forms are concentric, they radiate energy - Triangle symbolizing mind - thought, Square symbolizing grounding - physical form and Circle highlighting soul - infinite embrace.
Challenges faced – size for bringing any sketch to a finished form. Design needed to be more accurate and adaptable for scaling from miniature to tabletop sculpture. Curves, space and balancing overall design had to be ensured in such a way that it looks appropriate, beautiful and pleasing. Space between line to not be merged in printing for uniform spacing.
Single line was drawn in a manner that it moulds into different forms – square, circle and triangle, Minimum radius was provided while curving possible edges before conversion into 3D print. Line thickness was adjusted for better balance for a tabletop sculpture.

HumanTech

Celebrating innovation in science and technology – fusion of human abilities with technical learning combined together. Visually striking standee to exhibit intersection of art and design embodying innovation in both aesthetics and function.
Bringing a creative concept to life using 3D printing involves analysing design complexity and technical constraints - slicing settings - infill, temperature, line thickness, layer height etc., in order to avoid thin strands in between lines. Converting ideas into printable formats is mandatory.
Giving appropriate line thickness to achieve material-aware artwork. Reliable software and optimized slicing for smooth conversion, consistent calibration and environmental control for print quality and durability. These strategies are ensured to convert line drawing into 3D printed artwork meant to add character to any table. A Stand with a slot made to fit line drawing of the artwork.

Epitome of Energy

Two hands reaching out in an effort to protect and preserve the life force energy that sustains and connects, forming a bridge between intention and care. Those hands represent empathy and resilience. It is a silent vow to nurture something sacred, fragile, and deeply human.
Intricacies while designing and drafting, calibration between two extruders, mesh separation, and careful orientation of two nozzles. Alignment of nozzle paths and ensuring material compatibility in terms of various factors like temperature, layer height, placement of artwork over base, etc.
For dual extrusion, separating mesh bodies and then alotting distinct materials while minimizing overlapping surfaces. Calibration test and X/Y alignment was done in 3D printer. Both materials with uniform thermal profiles was enabled by selecting filaments with similar temperature, layer height etc. Placement of artwork over a base, both layers were oriented in the centre to curb overhangs. Nozzle paths were reviewed to look for misalignment prior to printing.
