Healthcare Incubator

Design Output - Offices & Co-working spaces are located in the centre while the Cafeteria, Incubation Suites & Common Equipment Labs are positioned at the walls. Design captures optimum utilization of light. Designed for participation, partnering & networking with well equipped support areas with facility & infra.

Bio Incubator

Efficient space utilization from the equipment list to the optimization of area available. Developed 3D walkthrough for better visualization. With an accent towards maximum utilization of natural light and air.

CAR-T Cell Therapy Facility

Design Output - Additional GMP Lab was added with replicated design from one GMP Lab for enhanced flow, productivity & performance, keeping the flow intact with mobile pedestals. Adhered to the equipment list & process flow in QC, R & D & GMP Labs. Area of each lab was utilized optimally and leaving 1500 mm gap between lab tables for better circulation, men & material movement. Efficient zoning & space planning within the limited area available in each lab. OPS & Support Office included.

Cellagility Biomed Pvt. Ltd. - Bio Suite

Developed 3D and animation for Bio Suite.

Office

Developed 3D and snapshots which involved colour rendering of furniture as well as interiors of Chairman's Cabin, Manager's Cabin, Conference and Work area.

K-Tech Innovation Hub - Engineering and Tech Incubator

Plans, snapshots & animations were developed for the Tech Incubator. Each center occupies 80-90 individuals and offers a prototyping facility, co-working space, private office spaces, training room, and other amenities and many more services.
The equipment and Infrastructure at K-Tech Innovation Hub at each center offers: Metalshop - Vertical Milling Center (Haas VF-2), CNC Turning Milling / Lathe, Sheet metal bending, Welding, Laser cutting - Fiber Laser 700W, Co2 laser 70 W, Wood Shop with CNC, 3D printing, Injection Molding, Vacuum forming, Electronics lab, Conference room, Classroom, Meeting rooms, Co-working spaces, Private cabins for startups & Cafeteria.

Ahmedabad University - Bio Profab Mechatronics Incubator

Efficient zoning & planning - snapshots were developed. This Incubator offers Mechanical, Electronics, Rapid Prototyping, Conference Room, Ideation Room, Coworking space of 30 seats in the Ground Floor; Bio Incubator in the first floor comprising of Wet lab - 35 seats with write up area, 5 classified labs, Plant tissue culture, Animal tissue culture, with air lock, Histopathology, Mol Bio Lab, Micro Lab, Instrumentation, and so forth.

Hitha Hospital, Puttur - Multispeciality Hospital

Effective space planning - All wards were designed with natural light while areas that emitted harmful rays like OT rooms, Ultrasound, CT Scan, X-Ray etc., were positioned in the centre and Lead lined walls were used. Safety measures were implemented in the plan as per the applicable guidelines.

Dentyscan 3D - 3D Imaging Facility

Design Output - CBCT –equipment emits harmful UV rays, therefore, civil walls were constructed while the rest were all gypsum partition for optimal utilization of space.

Karnataka Soaps & Detergents Ltd. - Museum and Product Display

Karnataka Soaps and Detergents has the GI tag for Mysore Sandal Soaps. Museum for a showcase of the history of soaps and detergents with a customised product display unit for corners of the hexagonal shaped building to efficiently utilise space. Seats for a panoramic 180-degree view of the displayed products.

Cafeteria

Break out area (cafeteria). Mangalore tiles for the roof with wire cut bricks for side parapets to create a home away from home kind of feel – rural and rustic. Sourcing of pendant lights, furniture, etc., of different colors – “Birds of different feathers flock together”, meaning people come from diverse cultures with vast aspirations.

IKP Eden - Tech Incubator & Co-working Space

Each center occupies 80-90 individuals and offers a prototyping facility, co-working space, private office spaces, training room, and other amenities and many more services.

Bangalore BioInnovation Centre - Life Sciences Incubator

A flexible infra for incubatees – movable cabinet design with wheels, except for the sink. Office at the beginning of each incubation suite, Instrumentation & Bio Suite. 2 design options – with island and without island. Facilities included Incubation Suites, Instrumentation Suites, Bio Suites, CEO Cabin, Manager’s Cabin, Admin, Conference, Meeting Rooms, Library, Training Room, Pilot Plants and Support functions.

About Final Year Major Project - Raffles, SingaporeASTER Primary School for the Visually Impaired

Design a school for visually impaired students aged 6 to 11 years with facilities such as classrooms, art classrooms, music classrooms, computer classrooms, library, Snoezelen room, playground etc., and infusion of teaching and learning methods such as Braille writing tutor (primary, intermediate, advanced) from grade 1 to 2, slate and stylus, tactile arithmetic and algebra frame, talking calculators in grade 3 and 4, and Braille NoteTouch Notetaker, tactile images, tactile diagrams in grade 5 and 6 etc. since the subjects and the pupil’s skill level would gradually change when they move on to the next grade. The 5 senses would be incorporated in different ways such as tactile flooring, tactile wall panels, etc. There was an issue that the existing areas of each block were huge for the required room size for each facility, therefore, I had to do intense research in order to come up with the solution to this critical problem for areas such as classrooms staff room, cafeteria etc.
Multi Sensorial - Sight, hear, touch, smell and taste since the visually impaired pupils can rely on four other senses, however, they have some sight.
Sight - Contrasting colors in flooring, tactile flooring,tactile wall art / murals, furniture, lighting, wind chimes, playground equipments and instruments, snoezelen
equipments etc.
Hear - Sound systems (speakers, earphones), talking calculators, games such as game panels, Bop It, Radica says what, Torx, Freeze Up, playground instruments, musical instruments etc.
Touch - Flooring, Tactile flooring, wall panels - games / learning wall, signages, touchscreen computers, tablets and other learning gadgets, playground equipments
and instruments, snoezelen
equipments, etc.
Smell - Aromatherapy Plants
Taste - Fruits and vegetables

About Design Studio Project - Hospitality - Thai Spa - Raffles, Bangalore

I got influenced by the Chakras that are associated with flowers as they were associated with the Thai Massage. Going deeper into each one of them, Sunflower(Empowerment) was used in the lighting in different ways, Saguaro(White colour as well as one of its petals) was juxtaposed with five other flowers in vast number of areas. The obstacles I faced was the area itself of 4230 square feet where I had to utilize each area, focusing on the spa requirements and the column where the passage with sufficient circulation would be provided for locker rooms. Therefore, the project was evolving and later in phases like technical drawings, lighting layout, 3D renders and finally the physical model.

About Design Studio Project - Residential - Heritage Courtyard House - Raffles, Bangalore

I had to design an existing heritage courtyard house open to sky for clients who are lighting and graphic designers. Inspired by their interests such as hippie, mandala art, food, preppy, berries and resort, I therefore, came up with the concept as confluence by dividing these elements in each area like hippie in the living room, mandala art in the dining, preppy in the work area etc. This project had too many alterations such as zoning, placement of washrooms etc., followed by technical drawings and physical models.
